Travelin' Lite Band

Tim Campbell grew up in western Kentucky, Tim was influenced by country, classic rock and pop music of the 80's.  "My mother's love for music was a big part of it.  I can remember singing Elvis songs as far back as I can remember."   When Tim was twelve, he watched the Commodores perform live on television and decided he wanted to make music a major part of his life.  "Playing music really opened up doors for me and introduced me to some great friends."

In 1987, Tim's family moved to Central Florida. By 1988, he had landed his first professional gig. In 1989, Tim joined the group "Nightlife" and started playing in a house band in Casselberry Florida. In 1991, Tim joined Sound Society Entertainment. Tim performed with his band "Park Place" and toured most of Florida playing convention halls and weddings. "Park Place" opened up for such acts as The Righteous Brothers, Chubby Checker and Bo Diddley. In 1993, Tim joined "Sound Society" with Mike Bunch. Later that year the band changed it's name to "Rock-n-Soul". Tim performed with "Rock-n-Soul" at the world famous Church Street Station until the summer of 2001 when Church Street Station dissolved. Tim is famous for his "Elton John" show. With "Rock-n-Soul", Tim performed all over the United States, The Virgin Islands and Mexico. In 2000, he released his first CD "I Got This Feeling".
